25 Christmas Gifts for the Women in Your Life (part 2)

Never fear!  Part 2 of my 25 Christmas Gifts for the Women in Your Life is finally here!  If you missed numbers 25-10 check out part 1.  Keep scrolling for numbers 1-9 on the list!

9.  Alex and Ani Bracelets

These bracelets are amazing.  I feel like I have been living under a rock because I just recently discovered them.  I got one as a bridesmaid gift from a friend of mine this October and it was an instant obsession.  There are so many options from finish tones, shapes, and symbols.  They stack well together or look great alone.  These are definitely on my Christmas list this year!

8.  Stackable Rings

This is something I will really want when we have kiddos.  I want a stackable ring for each child with their birthstone in the band.  They are thin rings so that they don't over power your fingers.  They are great for moms or you can wear them with your own birthstone, or just gems you think are pretty.

7.  Camera

Its no secret that most women like to take photos, whether that is on their phone to post to instagram or as a professional photographer.  I aspire to improve my photography skills as a way to take family photos and capture the beauty of this world we live in.  The type and level of camera you purchase truly depends on the aspirations of the woman you're purchasing it for.  My husband has a great "tough" camera that is water proof that we take when we go hiking, kayaking, and exploring.  I personally want a basic camera to help me learn the art of photography.

6.  PR Chalkboard

I am NOT a runner, but I am also not one of the few women in the world who don't have to work at their figure.  So I run.  With a lot of bitterness, but I run.  Having a board like this one would be a great way to remember my goals, and check on my achievements.  My sweet husband has been saving my race bibs so this would be a cool way to display them.

5.  Cooking Lessons

This is something that I want.  I am not a bad cook, but I need to learn to be a more versatile cook with skills beyond my current ability.  Please, please, please be careful with this gift.  Don't give cooking lessons unless she has expressed interest in them, you don't want to send the wrong message.  However, if cooking lessons aren't your style, classes on something she is interested in would be greatly appreciated by her.  Other options are photography, jewelry making, cake decorating, workout certifications, etc.

4.  Help Her Cross Something Off Her Bucket List

Recently my husband and I have been talking about crossing items off our bucket list while we are young and don't have children.  Now is our time to be selfish :)  In September, Aaron got SCUBA certified, crossing something off his list.  If you haven't had an opportunity to start a bucket list, I suggest it.  Then help each other cross things off by doing things together!

3.  A Day at the Spa

Women in today's world are running themselves ragged.  Whether they are stay at home moms working to raise their children, keep a clean house, have dinner ready, and laundry clean or they are working 20, 30, 40, 60, 80 hours per week at their job, ladies are exhausted by the end of the day.  Help the woman in your life unwind and focus on herself for a day.  Send her to the spa.  She can get a massage, facial, her nails done, etc and remind herself that it's ok not to worry about everyone else and to focus on herself.

2.  Computer

Now that I am done with college I am reworking my computer needs.  I now do most of my computing from the comfort of my home office instead of out and about wherever I may be.  I still love my laptop as it allows me to easily move from place to place and stay connected to my work, email, friends, and other activities.  However, it is dated and instead of replacing my Macbook, I would like to remain using it and also have an iMac desktop computer that will be my new base of operations.  They are even on sale at Best Buy!

1.  Girls Weekend

Just like guys, us girls need time to reconnect, be silly, have girl talk, and get away from the stresses of real life.  It would be so generous of the men in our lives to plan a weekend getaway for us so we wouldn't even have the stress of planning it!  Bonus points if you surprise her with it!  Often times women think of things the would love to do, but then decide not to spend the money on themselves because the money could buy "Jenny" new school shoes, or pay for soccer camp for "Mark."  Help the women in your life to dote on themselves by planning it out for them.

I hope the list I've created helps you on your quest to find the perfect gift for the women in your life.  The final installment of this year's gift guide will be for the pups in your life.  Until then...
